What appears to be random craziness in the air actually is an elaborately structured sport, with rules and standard maneuvers.

 

The official world championship sanctioned by the FAI (Fédération Aéronautique Internationale) is a visual spectacle unlike any other. Using fast, agile, lightweight aerobatic planes, pilots reach speeds of 370kmh while enduring forces of up to 10G as they navigate the 25-meter-high, air-filled pylons of a low-level slalom track – the ultimate motorsport series in the sky.

Our 2 days event , Sky Grand Prix, will see the best aerobatics pilots in the world travel to Qatar to compete in a breath- taking spectacle aerial circuit.

Planes will twist, turn and be pushed to the extreme as they blitz though multi storey pylons and complete flawless aerobatic routines.

The event includes aviation activities and features for the whole family. The previous Sky Grand Prix hosted in South Africa, Lebanon, and Turkey have proven spectacular appeal and attracted tens of thousands of spectators.

We actively collaborate with the host cities and business partners so that the entertainment and revenue opportunities can be tailored to each specific location.

Main Event: Sky Grand Prix competition, comprises test flights, familiarization flights, pre-qualifying and qualifying hours, culminating at the main flying competition.
